Payment Methods

The Online Pharmacy BestPharmacy.gr offers the following payment methods, accessible at cart / order checkout:

1. Credit or Debit Card
2. Digital Wallet: Google Pay, Viva Wallet, Apple Pay
3. Paypal Payment
4. Bank Transfer - Money Order
5. Cash on Delivery

Shopping with us is secure!

Transactions on BestPharmacy.gr are secure, not only because we use SSL-encrypted connections for ordering and sign-in, but also because we use the secure electronic systems of Alpha Bank, Viva and Paypal for electronic or credit card payments.

The customer's digital payment details are introduced directly into the secure systems of Alpha Bank, Viva or Paypal. BestPharmacy.gr does not receive or store any credit card information.

1. Credit or Debit card

BestPharmacy.gr supports order payments by VISA, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Maestro credit or debit cards.

Depending on the customer's location (e.g. country), BestPharmacy.gr allows the selection of the credit or debit payments at the checkout via the following systems:

   The E-commerce payment system of Alpha Bank, accepts payments with Visa, MasterCard or Maestro credit or debit cards of any bank (issued in Greece or other countries).

   Viva Wallet, which accepts credit or debit card payments, as well as payments with the Viva Wallet (digital wallet), as well as other payments, such as Google Pay. Viva Payments is a banking institution licensed by Bank of Greece for financial transactions in the EU and the UK.

For credit cards that support installments via Alpha Bank's or Viva payment system (usually Greek Bank cards), BestPharmacy offers payment with 2-3 installments, for a minimum order amount of 60€. Please note that if installments are selected on a card that does not support them, the payment may fail or be cancelled.

Note: The customer's card payment details are introduced directly into the secure systems of Alpha Bank or Viva. BestPharmacy.gr does not receive or store any credit card information.

Note: In rare cases, some card payments show up as incomplete in our order management system, even though payment is complete. To avoid delays, please ensure that you have received an email confirmation of your order from BestPharmacy.gr shortly after payment. If you do not receive an email cofirmation shortly after the order, please contact us to check payment and proceed with your order.

2. Digital Wallet (e.g. Viva Wallet, Google Pay, Apple Pay)

Orders can be paid by the customer's digital wallet such as Viva Wallet, Google Pay or Apple Pay, depending on the country/region (i.e. not available in all locations).

If this option is available and is selected at order checkout, BestPharmacy.gr will redirect the browser to the digital payment provide (e.g. Viva Wallet) for payment and then return to BestPharmacy.gr for order completion.

3. PayPal

Orders can be paid by the customer's PayPal account, depending on the country/region (i.e. not available in all locations). If this option is available and is selected at order checkout, BestPharmacy.gr will redirect the browser to Paypal.com for payment and then return to BestPharmacy.gr for order completion.

Paypal's electronic payment system is one of the most secure electronic payment systems worldwide and it can also process credit or debit cards.

Note: In rare cases, some Paypal payments show up as incomplete in our order management system, even though payment is complete in Paypal. To avoid delays, please ensure that you have received an email confirmation of your order from BestPharmacy.gr shortly after payment. If you do not receive an email cofirmation shortly after the order, please contact us to check payment and proceed with your order.

   

 

4. Bank Transfer / Money Order

Order payment by bank transfer or money order is also available at checkout for specific countries / regions (i.e. not available for all locations).

Important: All Bank transfer or Money order fees must be paid by the customer. If the transaction is within the same bank in Greece (i.e. Alpha Bank or Piraeus Bank), then usually there are no fees.

To ensure faster service, customers should use their Name and Order Number (received via email) for the bank transfer / money order comments or notes. Orders will ship when the payment is confirmed.

After payment with bank transfer / money order, customers must send the transfer / order receipt via e-mail to [email protected]

5. Cash on Delivery

 

Orders can be paid with Cash on Delivery (also by card depending on whether the specific shipping courier accepts it), if this option is selected at order checkout. This is the only method where the order is not paid before shipping.

Cash on Delivery (COD) may have additional transaction fees, depending on the fees charged by the shipping service (courier). The COD fee can be found at the checkout during the order payment and they are charged according to the shipping service (courier) selected by the customer. Currently the COD fee for delivery in Greece is 1.50 €.

Note: Cash on delivery payment is available only for orders delivered within Greece.
