Description - mode of action
Po-Ho oil was one of the first and most beloved compositions of the physician Dr. Alfred Vogel. It contains a composition of 5 Essential Oils from fresh herbs:
- Mint 50%
- Eucalyptus 30%
- Wild Cypress 14%
- Cumin 4%
- Fennel 2%
The name comes from Po-Ho, the Mandarin term for mint, which is the base of the five essential oils in this refreshing oil combination.
The key feature of essential oils is that they evaporate at room temperature - which is why they smell so pleasant. They can also be applied straight onto the skin for rubbing, or for an essential oil treatment at home or even the gym (a few drops, on a sauna spoon).
In addition to imparting a nice and relaxing scent, essential oils can also help the body in other ways, which form the basis for aromatherapy.
In addition, peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils have traditionally been used to help maintain clean, fresh breath and good respiratory health - especially during cold and flu season for nasal congestion, runny nose, muscle aches, headaches and sore throats.
