Aeolos Valved Ηolding Chamber 0-18 Months (Small Mask + Mouthpiece)

Aeolos is an inhaled anti-static balloon used for the effective administration of inhaled drugs.

The use of Aeolos significantly reduces the amount of drug deposited in the oral cavity and pharynx and even greater absorption of the drug from the lungs is achieved. Aeolos, thanks to its small size and inhalation control technology, is your ideal partner in dealing with asthma.

Instructions for use:

1. Visually inspect the inside of the air chamber before each use. If a defect is found, the device must be replaced.
2. Remove the cap from the metered dose inhaler, shake well and insert it into the balloon.
3. Apply mask to face and make sure there are no inhalation losses.
4. Push in the metered dose inhaler while ensuring that the patient inhales slowly. If the sound of the whistle sounds, then the inhalation should be slower. On inhalation, the inhaler moves towards the patient as he inhales normally.
5. The mask should remain applied to the patient’s face for 5-6 inhalations by the administration of a spraying.

Cleaning Instructions:

1. Remove the back of the air chamber.
2. Sink all parts of the balloon into lukewarm water and mild detergent solution. CAUTION! Avoid rubbing the parts of the air chamber with a cloth or sponge.
3. Rinse the parts of the air chamber with clean water. Or remove all parts of the air chamber and place them on top of the dishwasher in an upright position.
4. Place the air chamber sections in a vertical position on a dry surface to dry them. CAUTION! Avoid drying the parts of the air chamber with a cloth or cleaning paper.
5. Before reassembling the inner tube, ensure that all parts of the tube are dry.

* The balloon should be replaced after one year of use.
