How does hydrocolloid technology work?

COMPEED® has used hydrocolloid technology to develop new products for blemishes.

The high absorption hydrocolloid patch removes excess oil from the surface of the skin.
Applying well over impure skin and dead cells, it stays in place overnight and helps protect against germs.
This protective barrier protects the pimple, preventing it from growing or breaking off, while protecting it from environmental germs such as those that may be on the pillow. This helps to reduce any aggravation of the pimple and helps to protect the natural healing process.

2. Cleanses: Hydrocolloidal pad technology helps absorb excess sebum and retain moisture.

HOW TO APPLY AND REMOVE THE PATCH

01 Clean your skin before use and make sure that the area around the pimple is free of creams or oils.

02 Remove the patch from the wrapping and remove the protective cover with the COMPEED® label from the patch, avoiding touching the adhesive side.

03 Apply the patch firmly to the skin, without touching the adhesive side and make sure that the edges are well adhered. If you use other skincare products as part of your routine, these can be applied around the patch to ensure it stays there overnight.

04 To remove the patch: do not pull it upwards but remove it slowly, parallel to the skin. Slight redness may occur on removal of the patch - this is due to the adhesive membrane of the patch and could create a mild skin reaction, unrelated to pain. It should disappear in a few minutes after removal.

-White spots may appear on the patch, which means that the hydrocolloid is working by absorbing excess moisture.

Do not apply the patch to an open wound. Do not apply the patch to infected pimples. The product has not been tested on children, pregnant and breastfeeding women.
