Amino acids are the basic building blocks of proteins and in contrast to the other two basic nutrient classes (carbohydrates, fats) they contain 16% nitrogen. Proteins are considered essential for any living organism, and after water, they make up most of the body weight. About 28 amino acids are associated with maintaining good human health. The liver makes 80% of these amino acids, but the remaining 20% must be supplied by the body from food and this percentage is called essential amino acids.

For an adult the essential amino acids are: lysine, threonine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, phenylalanine, tryptophan and leucine. Infants also need histidine. Requirements for essential amino acids decrease with age.

Lysine: It is one of the essential amino acids with anti-cardiovascular and atherosclerotic properties. Lysine should always be combined with Vitamin C. It helps to fight all kinds of herpes and plagues. Useful in cases of heart disease, circulatory and atherosclerosis.

• Threonine: It is an essential amino acid that cannot be synthesized by the human body and is found in high concentrations in the heart, skeletal muscles and central nervous system. It is considered essential for maintaining the protein balance of the body while helping in the synthesis of collagen and elastin. It also helps in liver functions while also helping the immune system promote the production of antibodies and ultimately facilitates the growth rate. The presence of threonine favors the elimination of some other ingredients and is also used as part of medication for mentally retarded individuals.

• Valine: It is an amino acid derived from the hydrolysis of proteins. A branched-chain amino acid found in significant amounts in the muscles.

• Methionine: It is an essential amino acid. It aids in the breakdown of fats and thus prevents the buildup of fat in the arteries. It also aids digestion and removes heavy metals from the body since it can be converted to cysteine. The amino acid methionine is also a great antioxidant.

• Isoleucine: It is an essential amino acid and belongs to the branched-chain amino acid class. This amino acid cannot be prepared by the human body for this reason and the body must obtain it from food.

• Phenylalanine: It is an essential amino acid in the body. It is the most common aromatic amino acid. It is involved in the synthesis of tyrosine.

Tryptophan: It is an essential amino acid that helps maintain overall good health. This amino acid is essential for the synthesis of niacin. It is used by the human body to produce serotonin, a neurotransmitter necessary for the proper functioning of the nerves and brain. Serotonin is essential for the sleeping process, it balances the emotional mood, the pain, the inflammation, the intestinal peristalsis.

• Leucine: It is an essential amino acid that cannot be made in the body and forms part of the branched-chain amino acids. They are widely used by bodybuilders and other athletes to promote muscle recovery, although they do not show any change in body composition.

• Histidine: It is an essential amino acid that is synthesized by the adult body in specific quantities. However, children often lack this ingredient. Histidine is a precursor of methyl histidine, a substance released by cells of the human immune system during an allergic reaction. It is essential for proper growth as well as muscle tissue remodeling, while also helping to maintain the myelin sheath that protects nerve cells. It is also considered essential for the synthesis of white and red cells, as well as for the protection of the body in the event of radiation damage and in the removal of heavy metals from the body.

• Taurine: An amino acid of major interest in baby nutrition is taurine. Taurine is highly concentrated in the muscles, brain and heart and plays a key role in the nervous system, thermoregulation, calcium management of cells and the endogenous detoxification process. Taurine has antioxidant properties and although you will not find it in the lists of essential amino acids, it is an essential amino acid for infants that are supplied through breastfeeding. Early infants lose taurine through the kidneys and the need to "replenish" the baby becomes even more urgent.

Non-essential amino acids

Arginine: Often referred to as "natural Viagra". Adequate blood flow to the genitals is essential for both male and female irritation. Arginine, of course, supports the maintenance of blood flow to the genitals - both in man and woman. Natural arginine is the "biological precursor" of nitric acid (NO) (a molecule that is also released with Viagra - hence its similarity to "natural Viagra"). Natural Arginine does not cause hypertension. It is hypoallergenic.

Asparagine Acid: It is a non-essential amino acid that is found in a sufficient amount in vegetable proteins especially in germinating seeds, but can be synthesized by the body from oxalic acid.

Serine: It is a non-essential amino acid, which is essential for fat metabolism, tissue development, proper immune function, as it contributes to the production of immunoglobulins and antibodies.

Glycine: It is a non-essential amino acid. It is related to the formation of creatine phosphate and can therefore be considered ergogenic. Increasing creatine phosphate in the muscles accelerates the re-synthesis of energy-efficient substances in short high intensity activities. Glycine can be synthesized from serine and threonine.

Alanine: It is a non-essential amino acid used to build proteins.

Tyrosine: It is found in sufficient amount in insulin as well as in the enzyme papain. It can be synthesized in the body from the amino acid phenylalanine. It is a precursor compound of epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine and all three are particularly important for the proper functioning of the brain, the transmission of nerve impulses.

Hydroxyproline: It is an amino acid found exclusively in the collagen molecule, which accounts for more than 50% of the bones. Hydroxyproline produced after bone degradation is not metabolised and excreted in the urine, so it is considered a good marker for bone degradation.

Cysteine: It is a crystalline amino acid composed of cysteine molecules. It is abundant in skeletal and connective tissue, hair and digestive enzymes.

Other ingredients: Empty capsule ingredients (cellulose of vegetable origin).

The product is manufactured in England under the Good Manufacturing Rules (GMP).

Use: Take 2 capsules daily or as directed by your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
