Uri - Amina is a specialized dietary supplement for immediate and effective protection against urinary tract infections. Specially designed for those with problems with chronic urinary tract infections, cystitis and urinary tract inflammation.

This formulation is a synergistic formula of 12 ingredients that each increases the action or effectiveness of the other.
It contains D-mannose combined with herbal extracts such as olive leaf, aloe vera, curcumin and black pepper in combination with digestive enzymes.

Digestive enzymes contribute to better digestive function (digestion of food), which ensures a lower microbial load in the gastrointestinal tract and thus in the urinary tract (biofilm).

Mannose is a simple polysaccharide found in certain fruits. It is also produced by the human body in small quantities. Its characteristic feature is that it is not metabolised and is excreted as such in the urine.

Research has shown that mannose has a protective effect on the urinary tract against infections & chronic inflammation (urinary tract infection, cystitis) caused by coliform bacteria such as E. Coli.

E. Coli is the main cause for about 90% of urinary tract infections. Coliform bacteria tend to adhere to the inner walls of the bladder (epithelium) forming a biofilm. They then multiply and cause a urinary tract infection or cystitis **
