Griffonia Seed Extract (5-HTP 100mg) by Lamberts® provides a natural source of 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) derived from the seeds of the African plant Griffonia simplicifolia. This extract is one of the most widely used 5-HTP supplements worldwide and is particularly popular among healthcare professionals.
5-HTP is the hydroxylated form of the amino acid tryptophan. The body produces 5-HTP from tryptophan, which is then converted into serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter involved in the regulation of mood, appetite, sleep, impulse control and memory.
The recommended daily intake provides levels of 5-HTP used in clinical studies. As with all Lamberts® herbal products, raw materials are carefully selected according to international guidelines for purity and absence of environmental contaminants. Manufactured in the United Kingdom in accordance with strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards.
