Rose hips (Rosa canina) are among the richest natural sources of vitamin C. Vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E, offering significant antioxidant support. For this reason, vitamin C content is used as the standardisation marker for rosehip extracts.
Rosehip 10,000mg by Lamberts® is one of the highest strength standardised rosehip extracts available. Each tablet provides 500mg of a 20:1 standardised extract, equivalent to 10,000mg of dried rose hips, delivering 250mg of natural vitamin C. This level aligns with amounts used in published studies.
