Vitamin C 1000mg time release formula designed to provide gradual and prolonged absorption throughout the day. The ideal way to consume vitamin C is in small amounts continuously over 24 hours; however, this is not practically possible. For this reason, Lamberts® developed Vitamin C Time Release tablets.
These tablets are manufactured using a specialised process that incorporates nutrients into micro-pellets, allowing their gradual release after swallowing. This ensures steady absorption of vitamin C for approximately 6 to 8 hours.
The formula also contains a significant amount of bioflavonoids which contribute to improved absorption. The bioflavonoid complex includes rutin, quercetin, citrin and hesperidin, along with rosehip extract (Rosa canina).
Each tablet provides:
Vitamin C 1000mg
Rosehip Powder (4:1 extract) 50mg
Citrus Bioflavonoid Complex 50mg
Manufactured in the United Kingdom in accordance with strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards.
Precautions
Intakes above 1000mg of vitamin C daily may cause mild gastrointestinal disturbances.
Allergies
This product does not contain: gluten, wheat allergens, barley, soya, eggs, milk (and milk products), lactose, nuts, fish, shellfish or sulphites.
Use
Take 1 tablet daily with a meal, every 6 hours, with a maximum of 2 tablets daily or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
