Recent scientific data show the synergistic effect of vitamin K (vitamin K2) and vitamin D in the health of the cardiovascular and musculoskeletal system and recommend to Healthcare Professionals to monitor both of these vitamins. More specifically, 60% of the British population is deficient in vitamin D, a deficiency associated with the appearance of a multitude of age-dependent diseases. Similarly, many nutritionists believe that a subclinical vitamin K deficiency, ie a deficiency not so intense as to be clinically manifested by a blood clotting disorder, is particularly prevalent in the general population and may contribute to the occurrence of osteoporosis and other diseases related to increasing age, including cardiovascular disease

The Lamberts® D3 and K2 formulations give 1000 units (25μg) of natural vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) as well as the impressive amount of 90μg (pure and free of its cis isomers) Vitamin K2 in its natural form (as menacinone / MK-7). In contrast to similar competition formulations using K2 from sodium-derived (Japanese soybean) beans, Lamberts K2 is prepared from chickpeas through a special fermentation process. This ensures that our formula does not contain as food allergens, soy and milk by-products.

Use: 1 to 2 capsules per day.
