Meditrina Lithoren is a specialized nutritional supplement for the health of the urinary tract, improving the results of lithotripsy and preventing the appearance of new stones.
The formula contains potassium citrate, magnesium citrate, citric acid and pyridoxine elements which inhibit lithogenesis while helping to prevent relapses. Potassium citrate prevents the aggregation and formation of calcium oxalate and phosphate complexes. In addition, it helps eliminate residual residues after lithotripsy, thereby helping to prevent the appearance of new stones. It contributes to urinary alkalis resulting in uric acid being broken down into potassium and magnesium, corrects type I tubular acidosis, and increases urinary excretion of citrate.
Magnesium citrate prevents the formation of calcium phosphate crystals, the formation of Brushite stones (CaHPO4 2H2O), while converting calcium oxalate to magnesium oxalate. Pyridoxine is a natural inhibitor of calcium oxalate lithogenesis. In particular, it helps to inhibit endogenous oxalate synthesis while helping to treat peroxaluria. The formula contains sucralose and has a pleasant orange flavor. Gift box contains 12 pH test strips.
Ingredients Content per bag
Pottasium Citrate 25mEq
Magnesium Citrate 5mEq
Citric acid 12mEq
Pyridoxine 25mg
Use: Before lithotripsy, 1 sachet in the morning and evening for one month. After lithotripsy, 1 sachet in the morning for at least 3 months.
For prevention of relapses 1 sachet per day (at night) while metabolic disorder persists and for dissolution of uric acid stones 1-3 sachets per day to adjust pH to 7-7.2. The stones dissolve at a rate of 1cm / month.
