Nasaline sachets are used to create a nasal-specific solution.
Nasaline sachets contain high purity pharmaceutical grade (USP Grade) sodium chloride (salt) and sodium bicarbonate (soda) in an appropriate proportion.
The resulting solution has the ability to adjust isotonic or hypertonic to suit our needs, has a specific pH to avoid chemical burns, contains no iodine, additives or preservatives and is specially designed for nasal washes.
Nasaline salt is recommended for use with the Nasaline Nasal Wash System instead of the usual iodine cooking salt, as the iodine contained in the cooking salt may cause allergic reactions. It is also not recommended to use seawater, which may be contaminated, contain pollen or algae.
Each sachet generates 250ml of isotonic solution or two sachets in 250ml of hypertonic solution.
