Rhodiola Rosea is classified as an adaptogenic herb. It contributes significantly to the regulation of cortisol levels in the blood, the stress hormone.
The plant Rhodiola Rosea contains over 140 active ingredients, which protect against the action of free radicals. The two most potent are phenols rosavin and salidroside. Research has shown that whole plant extracts containing a combination of salidroside and rosavin achieve optimal performance.
B-complex vitamins, magnesium and zinc promote the proper functioning of energy metabolism, reduce fatigue and increase mental alertness and concentration.
