Carotenes are found especially in vegetables and fruits, with beta-carotene being found in them with a dark orange or green color. Some are precursors of Vitamin A, while beta-carotene has antioxidant properties and helps minimize the damage caused by free radicals.
Free radicals are produced by the body when we breathe, we are in the process of digesting food, we exercise and even when we sleep. They occur naturally as they are created by emotional stress, ultraviolet light, radiation and environmental pollution. Free radicals harm the body by causing cell damage, reducing defenses against disease and putting the body in a state of “stress”.
To mitigate the effects of free radicals, it is necessary to balance with antioxidants. The most important antioxidants include: Beta-carotene, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Zinc, Selenium and components found in certain plants, such as Turmeric and Ginkgo biloba.
Antioxidants are obtained by eating healthy foods in a balanced diet, but supplementation may be necessary for maximum antioxidant intake.

The algae is called Dunaliella salin and is a green microalgae found in marine areas. It is a powerful antioxidant, since it creates Beta-carotene, as well as other carotenoids, such as Zeaxanthin, Cryptoxanthin, Lutein and Alpha-carotene.
One softgel per day helps cells fight free radical damage caused by UV exposure and cell damage.
Usage
Take as a dietary supplement for adults, 1 softgel daily, preferably with meals. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
