Trebon Honey is a natural syrup with soothing properties, thanks to its honey and marshmallow root extract. The properties of honey influence the growth and survival of microorganisms, preventing the growth of various types of microbes. Additionally, honey contains lysozyme, a potent antimicrobial agent, as well as other antioxidant compounds. Marshmallow (Althea) contains a mucilaginous gum, which gives it excellent soothing, expectorant, and anti-inflammatory properties. Marshmallow root is also used to treat oral and pharyngeal irritation related to dry cough.
