TZ Check iFOB Rapid Test for Detection of Fecal Occult Blood 1 Test

The TZcheck FOB Rapid Test is a chromatographic immunoassay “sandwich” method designed to detect human hemoglobin in fecal samples. It assists in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal bleeding which may be associated with colorectal cancer, ulcers, polyps, colitis, or diverticulitis.

Instructions for use

1. Allow the test and specimen to reach room temperature (15-30°C).

2. Collect stool sample:

   • Solid specimens: use the applicator to collect ~50 mg from 3 different spots.

   • Liquid specimens: use dropper to transfer 2 drops (~80 μL) into collection tube.

3. Insert applicator back, tighten cap, shake for 10–15 seconds.

4. Remove limit strip, press test upright on flat surface and start timer.

5. Read results at 5 minutes (do not interpret after 10 minutes).

Result interpretation:

• Positive: 2 lines (C and T)

• Negative: 1 line at C

• Invalid: no line at C
