Azelaic Acid
A natural oily acid with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action.
It reduces effectively the production of keratin, which may lead to acne.
Azaderm Cleanser contains 10% azelaic acid.
Azelaic acid relieves the symptoms of comedogenic acne, inflammatory acne and rosacea after local application.
Specifically, it has the following actions:
• Comedolytic
It normalizes the keratinization process in the pilosebaceous follicle.
Disruption of this process may cause comedones, inflammatory papules and pustules.
• Antibacterial
It reduces the intra-follicular colonization of Propionibacterium acnes in 8 weeks.
• Anti-inflammatory
It soothes the inflammation of the skin surrounding the follicle.
It evens the skin tone from discolorations due to acne.
Vitex oil
A natural ingredient with powerful antimicrobial properties, suitable for acne-prone skin, that helps reduce bacteria and soothe the skin.
Mimosa, Burdock, Echinacea
Special plant extracts that reduce skin inflammation and help clear the skin.
