This patent allows, thanks to the special coating, the slow release of micronutrients to the body, thus giving a higher rate of their absorption. Selenium yeast derives from the fermentation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and is the most bioavailable form of L-selenomethionine.
Dietary intake of selenium yeast helps protect DNA, proteins and lipids from oxidative damage, promotes normal immune system function, normal thyroid function and normal spermatogenesis.
